Indispensable
for the use with professional sound equipment. By an active crossover, the
output signal of the mixer can be divided in different frequency ranges.
This defines which part of the signal is sent to which amplifiers. The
active crossover OMNITRONIC XO-2300 is a high-quality stereo crossover,
which may be operated in 2-way stereo or 3-way mono. The stereo operation is
e. g. provided for discos of middle and larger sizes. The mono operation is
especially provided for larger PA installations and requires two crossovers.
The octave slope is 24 dB. This is the maximum which can be realised with
realistic efforts in these days. The crossover doesn't need frequency-cards,
as the crossover frequency can be selected infinitely variable via
potentiometers from 85 Hz to 16 kHz on the front panel.
