This unique "Noise Monitoring System" is designed to
protect the valuable licence in places of public entertainment. This clever
unit continuously monitors the pre-set sound level. As the noise level
approaches the set level a warning light will illuminate. Once the set level
is exceeded, any mains supply connected through the unit will be
disconnected (Usually the mains sockets on stage, into which visiting bands
or discos connect). The power remains disconnected for a period that you
set. If the venue has a sound system permanently installed, then an
additional interface can be added (G920C) that automatically turns down the
sound system, without disconnecting the mains supply. A remote indicator
panel (G920B) is available for mounting "on stage" or in the "DJ box" to
enable the performers to see when they are in danger of being disconnected.
Up to four indicator panels may be connected to one G920A control unit.

| Simple to install and operate, this
system automatically limits the sound output in places of public
entertainment, avoiding costly prosecutions and closures. The unit is fitted
with an internal 40A 4 pole circuit breaker and has a remote microphone unit
supplied that fits any standard BS1363 backing box (85mm square). The unit
continuously monitors the sound level ad displays a green LED under normal
running conditions, An amber LED is lit when sound levels reach 6db below
the threshold you set. At 3db below the threshold a red LED will
light. If the sound level crosses the threshold the red LED will flash and
the contactor will switch off. After the "off time" has elapsed the
contactor will switch on again. |
