STAFF. Kevin Hopcroft
In April 2002 Kevin formed this company, PREMIER SOLUTIONS, which is dedicated to providing solutions to any special audio, lighting or fragrance application. During the 40 years Kevin's career has taken him in amazingly diverse directions. He started in 1967 as a Disc Jockey at Nottingham's "Junktion Club". He later opened the "Cat Ballou Club" in Grantham, before starting his first Mobile Discotheque "The New Junktion Record Review". This later grew into an entertainment agency "New Junktion Discotheques" and branched into manufacture as "NJD Electronics". These two businesses subsequently merged into the now famous "NJD Ltd." During this evolution Kevin was also a member of "Equity" and performed not only as a DJ, but also as a Comedian, Compére and Cabaret Dancer and for many years served on the PLASA (Professional Lighting & Sound Association) committee. He later became Chairman of PLASA and was responsible for taking the PLASA Show to Earls Court. His vast knowledge, gained over the years, is now available to you to recommend exactly the right equipment for your particular application.
Heather Hopcroft
Heather's meticulous attention to detail is applied from the largest order to a simple request for information and her extensive experience ensures that you will will be treated efficiently and with a sense of importance. Heather was a Director of NJD for many years before leaving to join PREMIER SOLUTIONS with her husband Kevin, and during this time she was personally responsible for organising the company promotion and Trade Exhibitions including the PLASA Show. Heather has one priority, "a happy customer" ensuring that the service you get will be efficient, friendly and helpful.
Andrew Gardner
For the last nine years Andrew's almost life long interest in sound and lighting has combined business with pleasure. In 1989, he set up his own mobile disco, which in later years helped to finance his university education, graduating in 1997 with an honours degree in accounting and finance. Since graduation, Andrew worked at NJD as Senior Accountant/ UK Sales Coordinator. Due to the restructuring of the company in May 2002, he joined Premier Solutions where he was further promoted to Financial Manager. Andrew is now just as at home with the technicalities of our product range as he is with organising exports or helping you with your account queries. Andrew occupies his spare time his as a DJ which resulted in him entertaining 25,000 party goers for Nottingham’s Millennium celebrations. He is also a keen koi pond fanatic and most importantly spends time looking after his young son who is already showing a great interest in lights, like father like son!!!!!
