trapping of fingers in the door hinge cavity is easily prevented by fitting our
simple FINGER-PRO protector strip over the hinge cavity!
For doors that need to fold back
180 degrees against the wall, two strips can be used (fixed to each other with
the self-adhesive strips) to double the flexible guard width.
The FINGER-PRO protector strip comprises two parts, the "C" Channel section and
the Folding Protective Screen section. The unit is designed to prevent people
trapping fingers into the hinge cavity of a closing door which can result in
serious injury or even amputation of trapped fingers.
The two section "Bond-On" format of this product, means that it can be used on
all types of doors including rising butt hinged doors, and because it does not
require any screw fixing, it is also ideal for use on fire doors (no risk of
drilling into an asbestos core)
