SPECIAL NEEDS FURNITURE Premier Solutions supply and sell special Needs furniture The waterbed moulds itself to the shape of the body giving total unrestricted support without any pressure points. The gentle support by water allows movement to take place with the minimum of discomfort. The special double insulated heater pad, with variable heat control, maintains the bed at a comfortable temperature. Waterbeds need to be mounted directly on the floor or on a very strong platform or steel frame, as the waterbed is very heavy once filled with water (A double waterbed weighs over half a ton.)
Where the user of the waterbed has a tendency to "self harm" It is often desirable to also install wall and/or floor padding around the the waterbed. See "Softplay Padding" for more details. The waterbed covers are made from strong, reinforced durable vinyl, which can be easily wiped clean when necessary. All waterbeds are supplied complete with Heater pad, fill kit, water conditioner & instructions.
